Life sends us all kinds of experiences - some of them more sour than sweet. In this session, we will gently explore how we can make great art out of - or even during - our darkest hours. We will look at practical ways to keep going when the roof of our lives caves in, discovering ways to make writing about difficulties not only easier, but a healing process.

Would you like some personal attention to boost your confidence in your writing? I am available for one-to-one tutorial sessions tailored specifically to your needs. Whether you are a new writer who would like some support in beginning to be creative, or a more experienced writer requiring encouragement and guidance during the completion of a project, help is at hand! Having successfully mentored both fiction and non-fiction writers, as well as those taking their first "baby steps" into poetry, I am happy to offer ongoing or one off advice sessions. I am also able to provide reasonably priced full-length editorial critiques of manuscripts of any sort. My hourly rate for individual tutorials is £20. The cost of manuscript services is subject to length - please contact me for a quotation.
